Upward Bound hosts open house

The Upward Bound camp is planning a free open house for April 20.

The camp, at the site of the old Gates Elementary School, 40151 Gates School Road, will be open from 1 to 3 p.m. Those participating will learn about camp updates and the future of Upward Bound as the group moves forward on a rebuild and renovation.

Staff will be available to talk about summer and offseason opportunities. Visitors will be welcomed to tour the facility and enjoy a free lunch.

If you would like to attend, RSVP at https://www.upwardboundcamp.org/events/open-camp so organizers will know how much food to prepare.
