Franklin Forrest Braught, 80, died April 17, 2024.
Franklin was born Aug. 17, 1943, in Lebanon, Oregon to Frank Braught and Ruby Ford. He married Patsy Wetherell on Nov. 6, 2024 in Lebanon.
Franklin dedicated years of service to Willamette Industries and later retired from Georgia Pacific.
Franklin was an avid bowler, a patient fisherman, and a skilled hunter. His greatest joy was spending time with family.
Franklin is survived by his children, Jodi (Calvin) McDonald, Sherri (Eric) Parker, and Steve (Diana) Braught; siblings, Gene (Marie) Braught, Donna (Gordon) Fast, and Judy (Stan) Port; grandchildren, Christopher McDonald, Zach Parker, Alex (Summer) Parker, Kayla (Jerramiah) Sparks, Jacob Braught, and Janessa (Jacob) Heinz; and eight great-grandchildren.
Franklin was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Etta Braught; and great-grandson, Bentley Sparks.
Franklin was buried at Fairview Cemetery in Gates.
