In Memoriam: Brad Iverson (Nov. 1, 1968 – May 9, 2023)

Brad Iverson, 54, died May 9, 2023.

Brad was born Nov. 1, 1968 in Salem to Irvin and Carol (Michele) Iverson. He graduated from McNary High School in 1986

Brad was married to Jennifer Phillips, and they had four children. They divorced in 1996.

Brad married Jme, whom he met while working at Winco, on June 23, 2001 in Silverton.

Throughout his life, Brad was a dedicated worker and an active member of his community. As a shift supervisor at the WinCo Distribution Center from 1996 to 2014, he demonstrated his commitment to his colleagues and his work. In 2014, he began raising cattle on his family property in Gates.

Brad loved spending time with his seven grandchildren. He spent more than 30 years coaching youth sports, umpiring and volunteering to help shape the lives of the chidren he coached. He also enjoyed reading Stephen King novels and cheering for the LA Dodgers.

An avid lover of the outdoors, Brad enjoyed bass fishing, camping, hunting, and simply being surrounded by his family.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Stefani Iverson, Bradley Iverson, Jessica (Randy) Lickie and Austin Iverson; siblings, Kevin (Laura) Iverson, Suzanne (Travis) Toepfer (Shelley and Gene); and grandchildren, Lilia and Alexis Dewalt, Paisley Iverson-Frazier, Zion, Ampelina, Savannah and Melise Lickie.

In honor of his dedication to his family, a trust has been established in his name: The Brad Iverson Grandchildren Educational Irrevocable Trust.

Brad was laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Gates.
