Suspicious Circumstance, 7:13 a.m., Miller Cemetery Road, Scio. Caller was having issues with his neighbor. No crimes.

Animal Complaint, 7:43 a.m., Stayton-Scio Road/Brock Drive, Scio. Deputy spoke with a caller about an injured deer.

Mail Theft, 8:57 a.m., E McCully Mountain Drive, Lyons. Deputy spoke with caller about potential mail theft.

Death Investigation, 10:02 a.m., NW First Avenue, Scio. Deputy conducted death investigation.

Violation of Order, 11:01 a.m., NE Ash Street, Scio. Deputy investigated a violation of restraining order.

Fraud, 3:10 p.m., SE Juniper Street, Mill City. Counterfeit $100 bill found in the weekend deposit for a local business. Deputy seized the bill.

Event Detail, 5:33 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Deputies attended the Mill City City Council meeting.

Theft, 7:09 p.m., Crabtree Drive, Scio. Unknown person stole a black Giant-brand men’s bicycle from a carport.

Suspicious Circumstance, 8:28 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Deputies kept an eye on a suspicious vehicle.

Traffic Stop, 9:19 p.m., SW Ivy and Deford streets, Mill City. Driver warned for traffic violation.

Traffic Stop, 9:36 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive/Fishermans Road, Lyons. Driver warned for equipment violation.

Jan. 11

Extra Patrol, 12:02 a.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Patrol of Kimmel Park. All seemed in good order.

Domestic Disturbance, 1:01 a.m., Shelburn Drive, Scio. Deputy spoke to a female regarding her options to evict a non-compliant ex-boyfriend. The disturbance was verbal. She will seek legal action through the courts.

Suspicious Circumstance, 2:10 a.m., Seventh and Birch streets, Lyons. Deputy were unable to locate a truck pulling a golf cart.

Extra Patrol, 2:52 a.m., SE Fourth Avenue, Mill City. Deputies were contacted by a resident about a neighbor who obnoxiously revs their engine early in the morning. Deputies sat in the area during the time described by the resident but did not hear anyone revving their engine.

Extra Patrol, 3:26 a.m., Xmas Tree Road, Gates. Patrol of Monument Peak.

Criminal Mischief, 9:01 a.m., 25th Street, Lyons. Report of a storage unit opened by someone other than the owner.

Suspicious Vehicle, 9:07 a.m., Main Street, Lyons. Deputies took a report of a stolen golf cart.

Dog Complaint, 10:52 a.m., Thomas Creek Drive, Scio. Deputy transported stray dogs to Animal Control.

Welfare Check, 11:13 a.m., Thomas Creek Drive, Scio. Deputies responded to Apple Crash Alarm. Deputies found the owner of the phone number at the location who had not crashed and was not hurt.

Animal Complaint, 2:12 p.m., SE Kingwood and SE Third avenues, Mill City. Caller reported four small dogs running around the area.

Civil Dispute, 3:20 p.m., Franklin Butte Road, Scio. Caller had questions over custody of a child.

Juvenile Complaint, 4:26 p.m., West Scio Road, Scio. Deputy investigated a juvenile complaint. Nothing criminal found.

Suspicious Vehicle, 9:41 p.m., SE Sixth Avenue, Mill City. Vehicles in the park after hours.

911 Hang-up, 10:03 p.m., SW Hall Avenue, Mill City. 911 hang-up with no specific location. Deputies checked the general area and found no indications of any problems.

Traffic Stop, 10:07 p.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Driver warned for speed.

Jan. 12

Juvenile Complaint, 9:49 a.m., NW Beech Street, Scio. Juvenile detained and transported to Oak Creek Correctional Facility.

Hit and Run, 11:46 a.m., Cole School Road/Ridge Drive, Scio.

Warrant, 4:10 p.m., SW Fourth Avenue, Albany. Male, 20, of Scio turned himself in to the Civil Office in the courthouse knowing he had a misdemeanor warrant. He was also due to sign up for sex offender registration. Male was issued a citation on the warrant per jail staff and completed his registration.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle, 5:21 p.m., Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Stolen vehicle recovered. Suspect identified. Ongoing investigation.

Traffic Stop, 6:24 p.m., Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Female, 30, of Mill City was issued an arrest citation for a failure to appear warrant out of Marion County Circuit Court. Female was also cited for driving while suspended violation and driving uninsured.

Traffic Stop, 9:30 p.m., SW Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Driver warned for failure to dim lightbar.

Jan. 13

Traffic Stop, 1:44 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Driver warned for speed.

Traffic Stop, 4:01 a.m., SW Third Avenue, Mill City. Driver warned for failure to obey traffic control device.

Suspicious Person, 11 a.m., SW Broadway Street, Mill City. Deputies searched for a suspicious male.

Disturbance, 3:23 p.m., NE Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Deputies transported a male to hospital for mental health concerns and a dog to Animal Control.

Assault, 4:18 p.m., NE Third Avenue, Mill City. Female, 46, of Mill City was arrested for assault IV and transported to Linn County Jail.

Suspicious Person, 6:51 p.m., SW Kingwood Avenue/SW Tuers Lane, Mill City. No deputies in the area in time to check on a person walking down the road.

Person Assist, 7:27 p.m., S First Street, Mill City. Deputy helped a male come up with ideas on how to help his homeless son.

Suspicious Circumstance, 8:39 p.m., SE Fifth Avenue, Scio. Civil situation between two people.

Jan. 14

Harassment, 7:36 a.m., Fish Hatchery Drive, Scio. Deputies spoke with a male regarding a civil dispute.

Traffic Hazard, 11:04 a.m., Stayton-Scio Road/Brock Drive, Scio. Deputies offered a courtesy ride to a female.

Harassment, 11:52 a.m., NE Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Deputies spoke with a female regarding a civil/personal issue between her and other parties in the Mill City/Gates area.

Extra Patrol, 10:30 p.m., NW Clayton Place, Scio.

Extra Patrol, 3:25 a.m., SE Sixth Avenue, Mill City.

Noise Disturbance, 3:33 a.m., SE Hazel Street, Mill City. Deputy spoke to offender and he apologized and promised to be more mindful of his neighbor’s desire for sleep.

Extra Patrol, 3:35 a.m., SE Kingwood Avenue, Mill City.

Accident, 6:20 a.m., Fifth Street, Lyons. Non-reportable crash. Vehicle’s front tires went in the ditch and couldn’t get back out. Driver was calling for a tow. No impairment.

Suspicious Circumstance, 12:40 p.m., Neal Park Road, Lyons. Deputy patrolled the area and was unable to locate anyone.

Traffic Complaint, 5:07 p.m., SE Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Complaint of speeders in Mill City. Deputies were made aware for extra patrols.

Person Assist, 7:57 p.m., NE Third Avenue, Mill City. Deputy brought clothing and a blanket to someone in need.

Assist Other Agency, 8:27 p.m., Kingston-Jordan Road, Scio. Deputies checked the area and were unable to locate person for a welfare check.

Jan. 16

Welfare Check, 9:28 a.m., Highway 226, Scio. Everybody was okay.

Civil Dispute, 9:30 a.m., NW Sunset Court, Mill City.

Civil Dispute, 12:48 p.m., SW Spring Street, Mill City. Deputies responded to a disturbance and learned it was a civil dispute.

Dog Complaint, 1:02 p.m., SE Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Deputies lodged a dog at Animal Control.

Motorist Assist, 2:26 p.m., Highway 22/Twin Meadows Road, Idanha. Deputies assisted a couple stuck in the snow.

Criminal Mischief, 3:30 p.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Report of vandalism at Kimmel Park.

Jan. 17

Shots Heard, Neighbors Lane, Lyons. Citizen reported hearing gunshots.
