Being compared to the likes of Willie Nelson, Gillian Welch, and David Rawlings, Mary Travers, and June Carter Cash – Phoenix rises in the joy of a sound that highlights the multi-instrumental talents of both musicians while focusing on a variety of vocal styles and abilities.

Beginning their performance year in Mill City follows a hugely successful 2023 for the couple, who brought home a bronze medal in the Global Music Awards for their single release, Calamity Blues. This was followed by a finalist award for both Calamity Blues and Look in the Intercontinental Music Awards.

In October, the Crosby’s were invited to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn., to partake in the Josie Music Awards, where they were nominated for both Duo of the Year and Folk Album of the Year.

This year dawns with the promise of a new album on the horizon. Guests at the Jan. 20 concert will hear selections under consideration for this project.

The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Stewarts Hall, 158 SW Broadway, Mill City. Tickets are  $20 advance general admission or $25 at the door. Beer and wine is served.
