Sheepskin Revue holds Christmas show Saturday

The Sheepskin Revue performance troupe is putting on an original play this Saturday, Dec. 9, for its Christmas show and the public is invited to attend.

Scheduled to start at 7 p.m. right after the Scio tree lighting, the play will be held in historic ZCBJ Hall, 38704 N Main St.

Admission is free with suggested donations of $5 for adults, $3 for children and $10 for immediate families. All donations help cover operations and maintenance of ZCBJ Hall.

This year’s show is “Czech’n it Twice,” an original story about a fictional Scio family and their humorous spin on Czech Christmas Traditions. The play honors the contributions of Czech immigrants who helped found Scio and who built ZCBJ Hall in 1922.

The evening will also feature music and interviews in keeping with this year’s theme of Traditions: Old Stories and New Starts.

Friends of the Scio Public Library will be selling coffee and cookies during intermission.
