Joann M. Fohl, 91, died May 19, 2023, joining her husband who passed away in 1988.
Joann was born Sept. 10, 1931, and raised on a farm in Clements, Minn.
The oldest of seven children, she helped on the farm caring for her younger siblings and working in the fields.
Attending High School in Sleepy Eye, Minn, she met and married John after graduation.
Joann, a long-time resident of Mill City, worked and retired from the Sportsman’s Center in Mill City.
Joann spent her helping with senior meals, working the voting polls during elections and playing Bunko with her friends in the Canyon.
She is survived by her son, Steven J. Fohl; daughter, Patricia K. Fohl; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Services were held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Mill City. A reception followed at the Eagles Lodge.
