Stolen Vehicle, 7:09 a.m., Elm Street, Lyons. 1991 off-red 4-Runner stolen between 6:30 – 7 a.m. Ongoing investigation.

Traffic Stop, 8:24 a.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Driver warned for expired tags.

Counter Traffic, 8:43 a.m., Myers Place, Scio. Deputies investigated counter traffic. No crimes were committed.

Traffic Stop, 8:46 a.m., SE Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Driver warned for speed.

Traffic Stop, 9:26 a.m., NW Ninth Avenue/NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Driver cited for no Oregon driver’s license.

Traffic Stop, 9:42 a.m., Stayton-Scio Road/NE Fourth Avenue, Scio. Driver warned for improper display of license plates.

Abandoned Vehicle, 9:57 a.m., SW Second Avenue/SW Cedar Street, Mill City. Abandoned vehicles were removed by owners.

Traffic Stop, 9:57 a.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Driver warned for speed.

Traffic Stop, 10:25 a.m., S First Avenue/SW Broadway Street, Mill City. Driver cited for driving while suspended violation and failure to carry proof of insurance.

Criminal Mischief, 10:51 a.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Vandalism at Kimmel Park.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle, 4:25 p.m., SW 10th Avenue/SW Spring Street, Mill City.

Traffic Stop, 11:15 p.m., Jefferson-Scio and Robinson drives, Scio. Driver warned for failure to dim headlights.

Nov. 9

Recovered Stolen Vehicle, 9:46 a.m., Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Vehicle released to registered owners.

Burglary, 11:44 a.m., Blowout Road/Highway 22, Idanha. Deputies responded to a cold burglary.

Traffic Complaint, 12:22 p.m., Cole School Road/Sandner Drive, Scio. Speeding complaint.

Illegal Camping, 12:32 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Deputy responded to a male possibly living under the footbridge on city property. Deputy found no signs of a camp.

Suspicious Person, 4:32 p.m., Highway 226/Freeman Road, Scio. Stranded driver given courtesy ride.

Disturbance, 4:38 p.m., Providence Drive, Scio. Deputies responded to a report of female screaming. It was found to be a child yelling at dogs.

Animal Complaint, 6:06 p.m., Gilkey Road, Scio. Report of sheep running loose. Deputy was unable to locate.

Assist Other Agency, 7:48 p.m., SW Broadway Street, Mill City. Deputies assisted Lyons Fire with a call.

Traffic Stop, 8:43 p.m., SW Kingwood and SW High avenues, Mill City. Driver warned for equipment violation.

Extra Patrol, 11:12 p.m., SW Parkside Drive, Mill City. Deputies checked an abandoned property.

Extra Patrol, 11:43 p.m., Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Extra patrol at an abandoned house.

Nov. 10

Extra Patrol, 1:23 a.m., NE Wall Street, Mill City. Neighborhood patrol of north Mill City. 

Animal Complaint, 9:19 a.m., Gilkey Road, Scio. Sheep running loose. Deputy located owner who was trying to capture the sheep. Caller did not wish to pursue charges for livestock at large.

Theft, 11:14 a.m., Blowout Road, Idanha. Deputies responded to a cold burglary call.

Animal Complaint, 2:35 p.m., SW Fourth Avenue/SW Broadway Street, Mill City. Deputy checked area for dog at large and was unable to locate it.

Animal Complaint, 3:11 p.m., Gilkey Road, Scio. Deputy contacted owner of several dogs running loose while investigating a livestock call. Owner was warned for dogs at large.

Domestic Disturbance, 7:17 p.m., Jefferson-Scio Drive, Scio. Deputy documented incident between domestic partners.

Juvenile Complaint, 9:08 p.m., SW Cedar Street, Mill City. Deputies witnessed and contacted juveniles throwing chicken strips at the high school gym. The juveniles cleaned up the mess.

Assist Other Agency, 11:07 p.m., Idanha. Deputies assisted MCSO with a disturbance.

Stolen Vehicle, 11:11 p.m., NW Alder Street, Mill City. Vehicle stolen from under the carport. Unknown if keys were taken with the truck. Owner is unsure if she misplaced the keys.

Nov. 11

Traffic Stop, 1:26 a.m., Main Street, Lyons. Deputy stopped a vehicle for suspicious activity.

Extra Patrol, 1:33 a.m., Blowout Road, Idanha. Nothing suspicious was seen during this time.

Dog Complaint, 2:18 a.m., Stayton-Scio Road, Scio. No dogs were barking while a deputy was in the area.

Extra Patrol, 2:44 a.m., Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Extra patrol at an abandoned house. 

Recovered Stolen Vehicle, 9:05 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons.

Trespass, 10:14 a.m., Fish Hatchery Drive, Scio. Deputies gave courtesy ride to Second Chance in Albany.

Traffic Complaint, 10:57 a.m., Sandner Drive/Cole School Road, Scio. Citizen reported speeding traffic.

Harassment, 12:33 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Deputies gave advice to an individual who is having problems with neighbors.

Traffic Complaint, 1:12 p.m., Sandner Drive/Cole School Road, Scio. Deputies investigated a traffic complaint.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle, 6:35 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. 

Nov. 12

Trespass, 12:33 a.m., Leslie Lane, Scio. Deputies responded to a reported party at the location. Minor in possession investigation conducted.

Stolen Vehicle, 8:14 a.m., Gilkey Road, Scio. Report of a stolen vehicle.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle, 9:57 a.m., Gilkey Road, Scio. Vehicle stolen from an address in Marion County was recovered by LCSO deputies. Ongoing investigation.

Theft, 11:36 a.m., SW Fourth Avenue, Mill City. Cash stolen from unlocked vehicle.

Civil Dispute, 12:46 p.m., Shelburn Drive, Scio. Civil dispute over purchase of a vehicle.

Traffic Stop, 12:54 p.m., Kelly Road/Crackerneck Drive, Scio. Male, 44, of Albany was arrested for an outstanding Albany Municipal Court warrant. He was also cited for driving while suspended violation and driving uninsured.

Traffic Stop, 4:49 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Driver was informed that putting temporary registration on the outside of the window was not a good idea. Driver was  informed he needed to go to DMV as soon as possible and get license plates or another temporary registration.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle, 6:56 p.m., SE Hazel Street, Mill City. 

Suspicious Vehicle, 8:17 p.m., SE Sixth Avenue, Mill City. Deputy contacted male in the park after hours and advised him of the city ordinance and park hours.

Traffic Stop, 11:10 p.m., Richardson Gap Road, Scio. Driver warned for 65 MPH in 55 MPH zone.

Nov. 13

Trespass, 3:33 a.m., SE Hazel Street, Mill City. Civil issue resolved for the moment.

Dog Complaint, 11:47 a.m., Stayton-Scio Road, Scio. Information given to a member of the public.

Suspicious Circumstance, 12:39 p.m., Kelly Road, Scio. Traffic complaint.

Suspicious Vehicle, 1:35 p.m., Brock Drive/Stayton-Scio Road, Scio. Suspicious vehicle investigated.

Trespass, 3:58 p.m., Robinson Drive, Scio. Scio resident wanted an incident of trespassing documented.

Domestic Disturbance, 6 p.m., SW Spring Street, Mill City. Male, 32, was arrested for multiple warrants, robbery III and menacing.

Hit and Run, 10:05 p.m., Main Street, Lyons. Motor vehicle collision reported. Ongoing investigation.

Nov. 14

Extra Patrol, 2:50 p.m., SW Cedar Street, Mill City. Deputies greet students at Santiam Junior/Senior High.

Counter Traffic, 4:05 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Concerned parent had questions regarding a past call.

Suspicious Circumstance, 4:22 p.m., Rodgers Mountain Loop, Scio. Deputies find a hole in a windshield caused most likely by a rock.

Traffic Stop, 2:29 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Driver warned for speed.
