Letter to the Editor: Thankful for SCSD superintendent

Successful, innovative and well-run institutions always have an exceptional person at the helm, one who not only tackles problems as they arise, but also guides, instructs and supports those with whom they work closely all along the way.

Of course, we are referring to Todd Miller, superintendent of the Santiam Canyon School District. Without a doubt, he has guided our schools through the most difficult of situations during the past several challenging years and done it with great intelligence and grace.

The entire school system withstood the incredible pressures and met the myriad challenges – major accomplishments. We are so proud of all of you! Thank you for your outstanding achievements.

The Santiam Canyon is truly blessed, and we are grateful to everyone connected with our schools for their perseverance and selfless service to our children and families.
