All backyard burning ended on June 15. If you have anymore burning that needs to be done, it will have to wait until next fall. Anyone caught burning after June 15 may receive a citation from the police and Department of Environmental Quality and will be subject to a fine. Be a good neighbor and cover your burn pile and wait for the fall burn season that starts Oct. 1.
