Diana Kay Knight, 80, of Aumsville died May 30, 2022.
She was born in Long Beach, Calif., to Robert and Dorothy Claborn. After high school, she married Kenneth Knight on Sept. 24, 1960, and became a homemaker and mother of four children. Kenneth passed away in 2002.
Diana was a member of the Mountain View Christian Church, where she served as a volunteer for Sunday School and church daycare. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her hobbies included her love for animals, reading, scratch-its, people and her family.
Diane is preceded in death by her husband; three brothers; and her first-born child, Kenneth R. Knight.
Diane is survived by her sisters, Linda Sue Fortier of Santa Maria Calif., and Wanda Allen of Visalia, Calif.; children, Melinda (Loren) Puckett, Charlene (Ron) Edwards of Bakersfield, Calif., and Steven (Renee) Knight of Antigo, Wis.; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Services are at 11 a.m. June 6 at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church in Gates. Donations can be made to St. Jude and Doernbecher children’s hospitals.
