Chamber sets two workshops on online tips

The North Santiam Chamber of Commerce and Travel Salem are teaming up on a pair of workshops aimed at helping businesses, governmental entities and social service agencies improve their online presence.

The free workshops will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at the Detroit Community Center, 345 Santiam Ave., and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at Stewart’s Hall in Mill City, 158 SW Broadway.

Participants are requested to sign up for the free sessions at https://www.travelsalem.com/industry/digital-assets-and-tools/trainings/ and are advised to bring a laptop.

The goal of the sessions is to teach participants to set up their Google search profile information and manage it for optimum online exposure.
