Assist Other Agency, 2:02 a.m., Stayton-Scio Road/Shelburn Drive, Scio. Deputies assisted Stayton PD with a traffic stop.

Trespass, 11:48 a.m., Jefferson-Scio Drive, Scio. Extra patrol request.

Animal Complaint, 2:24 p.m., Highway 226/Fish Hatchery Drive, Scio. Welfare check on cattle. No crimes.

Prowler, 3:39 p.m., SE Whitten Road, Mill City. Deputies investigated a prowler at a residence.

Traffic Stop, 4:29 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Driver cited for 85 MPH in 55 MPH zone. Warned for failure to carry proof of registration and insurance, no rear plate and exhibition speed after doing a burnout.

Dog Complaint, 6:46 p.m., Ridge Drive, Scio. German Shepherd was outside of fenced property and wandered onto neighbor’s property. Phone numbers were exchanged so one can call the other over dog at large issues.

Extra Patrol, 8:40 p.m., Neal Park Road, Lyons. Person asked to leave Freres City Park and was advised of after dark park rules.

Suspicious Vehicle, 9:38 p.m., SW Evergreen Street, Mill City. No one found in or near vehicle.

Suicidal Subject, 9:38 p.m., W Main Street, Lyons. Person made concern statements in a text to another person. Deputies learn the person was not a current threat to themselves or others at this time.

Suspicious Circumstance, 11:42 p.m., Gates School and Monument Park roads, Gates. Vehicle stuck up Monument Peak. Deputies got the owner in touch with local recovery group.

Jan. 25

Traffic Stop, 1:17 a.m., S First Avenue/SW Broadway Street, Mill City. Driver cited for driving while suspended violation.

Juvenile Complaint, 8:25 a.m., NW Beech Street, Scio. Deputy investigated a juvenile complaint.

Violation of Order, 10:44 a.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Person, 48, of Mill City was arrested for violation of restraining order.

Welfare Check, 2:44 p.m., Loma Drive, Scio. Deputies found an unresponsive female during a welfare check. Medics transported female to the hospital.

Suspicious Circumstance, 5:03 p.m., SW Spring Street, Mill City. Deputy spoke with a citizen who is concerned they are being tracked and hacked.

Suspicious Circumstance, 10:30 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Deputies responded to a trespass. Person inside was an employee of the business.

Jan. 26

Suspicious Person, 9:59 a.m., Ridge Drive, Scio. Deputy was unable to locate on report of a suspicious person walking on the road.

Theft, 10:25 a.m., 25th Street, Lyons. Report of theft from a storage unit.

Park Patrol, 2:20 p.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Patrol of Kimmel Park.

Warrant, 2:50 p.m., SW Second Avenue, Mill City. Male, 54, of Lyons was issued a citation in lieu of custody for his Mill City Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear.

Welfare Check, 6:12 p.m., SW Cherry Street, Scio. Deputy conducted a welfare check in relation to custody issues between parents.

Jan. 27

OD Ingestion Poisoning, 12:47 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Deputies investigated an overdose but the victim was uncooperative and left prior to emergency service arrival.

Identity Theft, 1:53 p.m., SW Spring Street, Mill City. Deputies spoke with an individual regarding an attempted Facebook scam.

Accident, 3:19 p.m., Montgomery Drive/Highway 226, Scio. Single-vehicle, non-injury crash.

Welfare Check, 5:39 p.m., SW Cherry Street, Scio. Juvenile was doing well and was healthy.

Traffic Stop, 10:08 p.m., Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Driver warned for moving violation.

Jan. 28

Extra Patrol, 1:46 a.m., Neal Park Road, Lyons. Two people fishing after dark were asked to leave.

Domestic Disturbance, 2:35 a.m., Valley View Drive, Scio. Deputies separated a feuding couple for the night.

Assist Other Agency, 4:07 a.m., Highway 226. AOA Stayton PD with a DUI blood draw.

Extra Patrol, 4:08 a.m., NW Clayton Place, Scio.

Accident, 3:53 p.m., Richardson Gap Road/Fish Hatchery Drive, Scio. Two-vehicle, non-injury accident. One driver cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

Dog Complaint, 6:05 p.m., SW High Avenue, Mill City. Dog owners were out of town and the person caring for the dog had not returned to put the dog back inside. The dog was placed inside the residence.

Runaway, 6:59 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Juvenile ran away from home and was entered into LEDS as a runaway. Deputies continued their search.

Assist Other Agency, 8:12 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Keizer PD requested assistance in a call they were handling. They later advised they no longer needed assistance.

Forest Timber Patrol, 9 p.m., Camp Morrison Drive/Jordan Road, Scio. Deputies responded to a party on Neil Creek Road. Attendees appeared to be 21 and older. Party was quiet and those attending were cooperative.

Runaway, 9:12 p.m., Sixth Street, Lyons. Juvenile ran away from home and was entered into LEDS as a runaway. Deputies continued their search.

Traffic Stop, 11:29 p.m., Camp Morrison Drive, Scio. Driver warned for equipment violation.

Jan. 29

Forest Timber Patrol, 12:26 a.m., Jordan Road, Scio. Deputy assisted tow company by escorting them to a disabled vehicle on Neil Creek Road.

Harassment, 1:21 p.m., SW Spring Street, Mill City. Civil dispute over property.

Accident, 3 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Single-vehicle, multi-occupant crash.

Jan. 30

Suspicious Vehicle, 1:38 a.m., Front Street, Lyons. No one located nearby.

Warrant, 2:25 a.m., Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Male, 46, of Mill City was cited in lieu of custody for a Lebanon Justice Court and Mill City Municipal Court warrant(s).

Traffic Stop, 3:19 a.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Driver warned for moving violation.

Fraud, 11:23 a.m., 11th Court, Lyons. Report of Facebook fraud.

Suspicious Vehicle, 12:12 P.M., E Gates Bridge, Gates. No deputies were able to respond in a timely manner.

Phone Harassment, 1:03 p.m., SE Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Citizen called in a harassment on Facebook. Citizen did not answer when deputies called multiple times to take a report.

Suspicious Vehicle, 1:33 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Deputy took a report of a suspicious vehicle.

Theft, 1:37 p.m., SW First Avenue, Mill City. Theft of roughly $540 worth of items from a local residence over a one-week period. Items included two long boards and multiple Xbox games.

Assist Other Agency, 2:15 p.m., Camp Morrison Drive/Bilyeu Creek Road, Scio. Deputies responded to a bicycle crash. Medics transported rider.

Fatal Incident, 3:10 p.m., Mowitch Street/Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons.

Accident, 7:25 p.m., Highway 226/Fish Hatchery Drive, Scio. Injury accident.

Civil Dispute, 10:01 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Caller had questions regarding their property at a residence they are not allowed to be at.
