Scholarship committee seeks donations, audition items 

The Santiam Canyon Scholarship Committee is seeking cash donations and gift certificates or other auction items for the 20th annual banquet and auction.

Individuals and organizations are encouraged to donate by April 2. Cash donations would go toward purchasing auction items. Those with questions or who need a pickup for an auction item should call the Santiam Canyon School district office at 503-897-2321.

Checks are acceptable and all donations are tax deductible. Banquet officials ask that checks be made out of Santiam Canyon Scholarships and sent to PO Box 197, Mill City, OR 97360, attention: Santiam Scholarship Committee. Last year the banquet raised more than $64,000, which was used to award 27 scholarships.

The banquet is set for Saturday, April 20 at the Parish Hall at Immaculate Conception Church in Stayton. Tickets, $50, are available at the Santiam Scholarship Banquet Facebook page as well as https://santiam
. Tickets for drawings, which cost $15 for a book of ten, also are available on the website.
