Extra Patrol, 7:34 a.m., SW Evergreen Street, Mill City. Santiam Elementary.

Extra Patrol, 7:43 a.m., Crabtree Drive/Fisher Street, Scio.

Traffic Stop, 7:45 a.m., Crabtree Drive, Scio.

Traffic Stop, 8:07 a.m., Crabtree Drive, Scio. Driver warned for speed.

Suspicious Vehicle, 12:50 p.m., NW Cherry Street, Scio. Suspicious vehicle parked at St. Bernard Church. Female stated she parked there while visiting a friend and there was nowhere to park. She was advised not park on church property or to get permission from the church first.

Assist Other Agency, 1:09 p.m., SW Ivy Street, Mill City. DHS requested deputies respond with a case worker for safety concerns. Everything went OK and DHS left.

Disturbance, 1:50 p.m., Cedar Street, Lyons. Deputies assisted with male having medical and mental health issues. Male was transported to hospital by family members.

Assist Other Agency, 2:22 p.m., Oupor Drive, Scio. Deputies assisted DHS with a court-ordered custody situation.

Hit and Run, 2:26 p.m., Fourth Street, Scio. Deputy took hit and run report where parked vehicle was damaged. Ongoing investigation.

Traffic Hazard, 3:08 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Driver stopped in middle of highway to investigate a check engine light. Deputy assisted driver out of road.

Accident, 4:24 p.m., Larwood Drive, Scio. Single-motorcycle crash. Operator was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.

Warrant, 5:12 p.m., Gates School Road, Gates. Reported male with warrant at location. Deputies will attempt contact when able.

Juvenile Complaint, 5:23 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Caller had questions about teenage stepson.

Event Detail, 6:09 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Mill City City Council meeting.

Domestic Disturbance, 8:12 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Physical disturbance at a residence. Both parties left before deputies arrived. Potential victim did not want contact from deputies.

Welfare Check, 8:53 p.m., SE Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Deputy contacted female who advised she was fine and did not need assistance.

Jan. 30

Accident, 7:11 a.m., Richardson Gap Road/Highway 226, Scio. Deputies investigated a two-vehicle crash. One driver sustained minor injuries. No crimes.

Civil Dispute, 8:48 a.m., SW Spring Street, Mill City. Caller was concerned about civil issues between her mom and the roommate. Caller was advised about what the sheriffs could do or not do.

Motorist Assist, 11:31 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Deputies checked on motorist parked on the side of the road.

Traffic Stop, 12:22 p.m., Fifth Street, Lyons. Driver cited for failure to renew vehicle registration.

Welfare Check, 2:09 p.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Welfare check of houseless female at local business. No help was wanted by the person being checked on.

Suspicious Vehicle, 7:40 p.m., Dogwood Road/Kingwood Avenue, Mill City.

Disturbance, 10:17 p.m., NW Alder Street, Mill City. Deputies responded to a disturbance and found the victim would not cooperate.

Theft, 10:17 p.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Deputy responded to a theft and found the victim only wanted the offender trespassed from the property and did not want to pursue criminal charges.

There are missing dates in this week’s Log due to problems with the Linn County Sheriff Office’s computer server.
