Gingerbread house contest

TLC is sponsoring a gingerbread house contest Saturday at The Grill, 100 SE Juniper St, Mill City. The winner will take home $200. There is no entry fee and it is open to all ages.

Judging starts at 3 p.m. Bring completed gingerbread house entries in for registration anytime between 2 and 3 p.m. A panel of judges will award points.

Up to 100 points will be awarded based on: kit or handmade gingerbread, all edible display, originality, theme, effort, creativity, and samples to eat. Houses may be auctioned off for charity at the end of the contest.
