Traffic Stop, 5:54 p.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Driver cited for driving while suspended and no insurance.

Suspicious Circumstances, 6:12 p.m., NW Alder Street, Mill City. Deputies responded to an ongoing mental health issue. Non-criminal.

Animal Complaint, 7:25 p.m., Kingston-Jordan Road/Sandner Drive, Scio. Young deer injured after being hit by a car was dispatched.

Nov. 29

Forest Timber Patrol, 7:14 a.m., Fish Hatchery and Larwood drives, Scio. 

Suspicious Circumstances, 8:30 a.m., SE Seventh Avenue, Mill City. Caller reported the next door neighbor’s front door was open this morning and no one answered. The owner was located in the garage.

Dog Complaint, 7:05 p.m., Ridge Drive, Scio. Complaint of dog in the road. Deputies were unable to locate.

Traffic Stop, 7:54 p.m., SW Fourth Avenue/SW Alder Street, Scio. Driver cited for failure to carry proof of insurance.

Extra Patrol, 11:16 p.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Kimmel Park.

Traffic Stop, 11:35 p.m., Kingwood Avenue/SW Ivy Street, Mill City. Driver cited for no insurance, failure to register vehicle and driving while suspended violation.

Traffic Stop, 11:51 p.m., SW Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Driver warned for unreadable plate and headlight being out.

Suspicious Vehicle, 1:05 a.m., Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Deputy unable to locate.

Extra Patrol, 2:34 a.m., Neal Park Road, Lyons. John Neal Park.

Extra Patrol, 9:24 a.m., SW Broadway Street, Mill City. Extra patrol for traffic at the intersection. No violations observed. Light rain and light traffic.

Harassment, 1:49 p.m., SW Sixth Avenue, Scio. Deputy spoke to caller about some conduct issues of the Scio Fire Board. Deputy recommended the caller look through the bylaws and see how they can be addressed at a meeting.

Neighborhood Dispute, 8:57 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Deputy spoke with caller about issues with his neighbor and noise. No crimes reported.

Dec. 1

Suspicious Vehicle, 2:55 a.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Unoccupied vehicle found in closed business parking lot.

Extra Patrol, 3:15 a.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Kimmel Park.

Warrant, 10:34 a.m., NE Seventh Avenue, Mill City. Male, 31, of Mill City was cited in lieu of custody for an outstanding warrant.

Suspicious Circumstances, 12:58 p.m., Fish Hatchery Drive, Scio. Dog owner warned for dog violations after her dog trespassed onto a neighboring property.

Traffic Stop, 1:42 p.m., SW Second Avenue/SW Myrtle Street, Mill City. Driver warned for equipment violation.

Traffic Stop, 1:50 p.m., SW Kingwood and SW Second avenues, Mill City. Driver warned for speed.

Suspicious Vehicle, 1:57 p.m., Pyramid Ridge Road, Idanha. Report of a trailer with large propane tanks abandoned up Sheep Creek. Deputy found trailer being pulled by a Farrel Gas Company employee on Highway 20. The employee stated he had to get tire chains in Bend in order to get the trailer the rest of the way down.

Traffic Stop, 2 p.m., NW Santiam Blvd./NW Ninth Avenue, Mill City. Driver cited for driving while suspended and failure to carry proof of insurance.

Traffic Stop, 2:39 p.m., SW First Avenue/SE Laurel Street, Mill City. Driver warned for expired registration.

Trespass, 3:38 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Deputies spoke with a male who was trespassing. Male stated his motorcycle had broken down so he was hiding it off the main road. He stated his friend lived just down the road and would be picking up the motorcycle in a few minutes.

Extra Patrol, 9:56 p.m., NE Wall Street, Mill City. Extra parol, especially in high traffic violation areas.

Business Check, 10:14 p.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Check of open business.

Dec. 2

Extra Patrol, 4 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Deputies contacted individual who advised they were going to 7/11 to get cigarettes.

Traffic Hazard, 8:20 a.m., Rock Creek Road/Pebble Drive, Gates. Power line down from tree limb. Blocking logging access road. Road Closed signs were posted and power was advised.

Event Detail, 10:19 a.m., SW Evergreen Street, Mill City. Deputies checked out holiday activities and got photo taken with Santa.

Domestic Disturbance, 10:34 a.m., SE Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Verbal argument between son and mother. Son agreed to pack his stuff and leave the house.

Event Detail, 11:03 a.m., SW Evergreen Avenue, Mill City. Deputies walked the Christmas Bazaar after the Ugly Sweater run and got picture taken with Santa.

Burglary, 11:39 a.m., S First Avenue, Mill City.

911 Hang-up, 11:41 a.m., 16th Street, Lyons. Deputies responded. Person did not need assistance. Dialed by mistake while trying to call a family member.

911 Hang-up. 12:49 p.m., Myers Place, Scio. Deputies responded. Residence did not need law enforcement assistance.

Animal Complaint, 3:03 p.m., Main Street, Lyons. Two citizens located a dog on the sidewalk. Deputy assisted in locating dogs’ owners. Dog returned to owner.

Forest Timber Patrol, 3:08 p.m., Monument Peak and Xmas Tree roads, Gates.

Traffic Stop, 4:58 p.m., SE Kingwood and SE Second avenues, Mill City. Driver warned for no trailer lights.

Shots Heard, 7:21 p.m., Stayton-Scio Road, Scio. Deputies responded to possible sound of gunshots. They were unable to locate the cause.

Accident, 10:11 p.m., Richardson Gap Road/Fish Hatchery Drive, Scio. Report of vehicle in the ditch. Gone upon deputies’ arrival.

OD Ingestion Poisoning, 10:56 p.m., Hungry Hill Drive, Scio. Deputies assisted fire department with an overdose.

Extra Patrol, 12:27 a.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Extra patrols around parks, schools and businesses.

Traffic Stop, 12:33 a.m., S First and SE Kingwood avenues, Mill City. Driver warned for expired registration.

Traffic Hazard, 8:49 a.m., W McCully Mountain Drive/Highway 226, Lyons. Deputy provided traffic control until road department arrived for a large rock in the road.

Welfare Check, 8:23 p.m., SW Filbert Street, Scio. Deputies spoke to individual regarding civil issue involving custody of a child.

Extra Patrol, 2:03 a.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City.

Animal Complaint, 8:18 a.m., Myers Place, Scio. Deputy euthanized an injured deer.

Abandon Vehicle, 8:59 a.m., Dogwood Road, Mill City. Deputy responded to an abandoned vehicle complaint.

Theft, 9:53 a.m., Larwood Drive, Scio. Caller reported a hunting ground blind and trail camera were stolen.

Dog Complaint, 11:21 a.m., Rock Creek Road, Gates. Deputy checked area for stray dogs.

Domestic Disturbance, 1:14 a.m., Oupor Drive, Scio. Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. It was non-criminal and settled on scene.

Forest Timber Patrol, 3:13 p.m., Quartzville Road, Idanha.

Juvenile Complaint, 4:40 p.m., SW Cedar Street, Mill City. Deputies responded to a juvenile complaint. No crimes were committed.

Motorist Assist, 5:02 p.m., Rock Creek Road, Gates. Hunter got stuck and needed to be pulled to a location where he could get traction.

Extra Patrol, 11:47 p.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Kimmel Park. Nothing suspicious found.

Traffic Stop, 2:34 a.m., Queener Drive/Kingston-Jordan Road, Scio. Driver warned for failure to signal prior to 100 feet to turn.
