Mill City council has vacancy

Mill City has a vacancy on its city council. Applicants must be a registered voter in Oregon and a resident of Mill City for the past 12 months.

Candidates should be able to serve the remainder of the first two years of a four-year term through Dec. 31, 2024. The successful candidate will be required to file for candidacy during the next General Election if they wish to serve through 2026.

Interested persons must submit an Application for City Council Vacancy, available at ci.mill-city.or.us or Mill City City Hall by 4 p.m. Nov. 1.

Appointment to the council is expected to take place Nov. 14.
