Quilt and Garden Tour – 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. $10 per person; includes entrance to four homes and quilt display. Tickets are available at Yarnell’s Growers Outlet in Stayton, Godfrey Nursery in Aumsville or at each garden. In case of inclement weather, the tour will take place July 22. Urban Design Verification Study – 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Santiam Valley Grange, 1140 Fifth St., Lyons. Oregon Department of Transportation is working with Scio, Lyons and Mill City to study Highway 226 and Highway 22. The study will identify improvement ideas that would make it safer to walk, bike and roll along the highways. Initial improvement ideas will be on display. New ideas welcome.
