Community award nominations sought

Maps Community Foundation, the community giving arm of Maps Credit Union, is accepting nominations for their 2023 Maps Community Awards through July 15. Maps is looking for people to submit nominations for someone they think is an inspiration — someone who is a helper to family, neighbors, friends or the community.

Each winner may select a nonprofit in Marion or Polk County to receive a $1,000 grant. Last year, 15 nonprofits received grants for projects including Bridges Oregon who supports individuals who are Deaf, Deaf-blind, or Hard of Hearing; the historic Elsinore Theatre, and Bridgeway Recovery Services.

As part of its mission, the foundation seeks to promote vibrant, thriving communities by making strategic investments in Marion and Polk County.

Visit www.mapscu.com/community-awards for more information. Each person who submits a nomination will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card.
