Animal Complaint, 1:05 p.m., Shilling Drive, Scio. Deputy conducted a welfare check on a dog that was reported to have been tied to a tree in the rain. No dogs tied to a tree when deputy arrived and no sign of violation or crimes.
Animal Complaint, 2:05 p.m., Robinson Drive, Scio. Deputy responded to locate sheep that are reported to get out regularly. Deputy was unable to locate.

Narcotics Offense, 10:38 p.m., S First Avenue/SW Broadway Street, Mill City. Male, 54, of Mill City was arrested and lodged at Linn County Jail on an active Mill City Municipal Court warrant. He was also cited for driving while suspended and possession of <2 grams of methamphetamine into the Linn County Circuit Court.

Fraud, 9:32 a.m., HIghway 226, Scio. Caller thought they were possibly scammed for $300 when trying to purchase a dog on Facebook Marketplace. Caller will stay in communication in the event it becomes a scam and they do not receive their money back.
