Dog Complaint, 12:35 p.m., Richardson Gap Road/Highway 226, Scio. Dog was gone when deputies arrived.
Suspicious Circumstance, 3:22 p.m., Hungry Hill Drive, Scio. Deputy responded to a report of a suspicious injury to a child. Ongoing investigation.
Traffic Hazard, 6:49 p.m., Grand Prairie Road/Spicer Drive, Albany. Male, 35, of Scio was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after he was found walking in the middle of the road.
Extra Patrol, 9:23 p.m., Fish Hatchery Drive, Scio. No vehicles or persons in the park after dusk.
Suspicious Vehicle, 10:27 p.m., Hess Road, Scio. Deputies informed people they were trespassing at a park after dark.
Prowler, 10:35 p.m., N Ruby Loop, Scio. Nobody was found on the property.

Traffic Stop, 9:52 a.m., SW Fourth Avenue, Mill City. Driver warned for an unsignaled turn.
Traffic Stop, 10:09 a.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Driver cited for 60 MPH in 40 MPH zone.

Traffic Stop, 9:14 p.m., N First Avenue/NE Wall Street, Mill City. Driver warned for speed and failure to maintain lane.
Traffic Stop, 9:47 p.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Driver warned for no rear tail lights.
Suspicious Vehicle, 10:12 p.m., Hungry Hill Drive, Scio. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle at the end of the driveway. Deputy was not able to locate vehicle. Deputy also checked caller’s property and everything seemed fine.
Search and Rescue, 10:18 p.m., Green Mountain Road, Gates. Vehicle with four occupants reported needing rescue on CTC property. Prior to SAR arrival the vehicle was able to free itself and get back to the highway.

Traffic Stop, 2:52 a.m., SW Ivy Street, Mill City. Driver cited for driving while suspended and failure to use ignition interlock device.
Traffic Stop, 8:52 a.m., SW 10th Avenue/SW Linn Blvd., Mill City. Driver warned for speed.
Park Patrol, 8:59 a.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Extra patrol of Kimmel Park. All seemed in good order.

Traffic Stop, 11:16 a.m., SE Kingwood and SE Third avenues, Mill City. Traffic stop for speed. Driver was not paying attention and warned.
Traffic Stop, 11:25 a.m., SW Linn Blvd., Mill City. Driver cited for no seat belt.
Person Assist, 11:40 a.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Family members cleaned out a safe and did not want a firearm. It was turned over to the Sheriff’s Office for safekeeping.
Suspicious Circumstance, 11:47 a.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Male, 64, of Mill City was found at Kimmel Park. Male, a level 1 sex offender, was arrested and taken to Linn County Jail for failure to report as a sex offender.
Suspicious Vehicle, 7:45 p.m., SE Sixth Avenue, Mill City. Motorist was told park closes at dusk and was advised to leave. Half-hour later, motorist was still at the park. He chose to leave over being arrested for trespassing.
Violation of Order, 9:35 p.m., NE Ash Street, Scio. Deputy contact female regarding possible violation of restraining order.

Accident, 4:58 a.m., Jefferson-Scio Drive, Scio. Non-injury accident.
Accident, 5:23 a.m., Stayton-Scio Road/Brock Drive, Scio. Deputy spoke with caller about a vehicle that slid off the road due to severe icy conditions.
Warrant, 2:18 p.m., Main Street, Lyons. Complaint of a male with warrants.
Accident, 6:46 p.m., W Scio Road/Ridge Drive, Scio. Non-injury crash.
Accident, 8:29 p.m., Stayton-Scio Road, Scio. Deputies investigated crash.
Dec. 24
Motorist Assist, 7:51 a.m., Stayton-Scio Road, Scio. All vehicles that could move under own power were removed. The remaining truck and trailer were waiting for a tow.
Traffic Hazard, 9:35 a.m., Jordan Road/Highway 226, Scio. Deputy pulled vehicle back on the road. No injury or property damage in the incident.
Found Dog, 10:02 a.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Report of a found dog that was later returned to its owners.
Traffic Hazard, 10:11 a.m., Jordan Road, Scio. Car slid off the ice yesterday. Owner was waiting for the tow to arrive and remove it. No property damage or injury from the incident.
Suspicious Circumstance, 10:32 a.m., NW River Road, Mill City. Deputies received a call for an open door at a residence. Deputies checked residence; did not locate anybody.
Welfare Check, 1:26 p.m., SW Third Avenue, Mill City. Deputy assisted elderly male who had fallen. Male was transported to a local hospital.
Noise Disturbance, 3:49 p.m., SE Cedar Avenue, Idanha. Complaint of someone shooting in the area.
Hit and Run, 7:58 p.m., Ninth Street, Lyons. Report of a hit and run.

Assist Other Agency, 1:36 a.m., Myers Place, Scio. Attempted to locate a subject with outstanding warrants. He was not at the location.
Extra Patrol, 3:38 a.m., NW Clayton Place, Scio. Extra patrol at vacant residence.
Overdose, 4:51 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Deputies responded to a report of an overdose. Patient was transported.
Animal Complaint, 10 a.m., Crabtree Drive, Scio. Deputy attempted contact with a caller regarding an animal complaint.
Traffic Complaint, 11:55 a.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Driver warned for operating a vehicle with off-road lights on.
Traffic Stop, 12:26 p.m., Richardson Gap Road, Scio. Driver cited for 80 MPH in 55 MPH zone.
Out with a Vehicle, 1:45 p.m., Jordan Road, Scio. Vehicle was broken down and STR Towing was enroute.
Traffic Complaint, 2:05 p.m., N Main Street, Scio. Vehicles left area prior to deputy’s arrival.
Traffic Hazard, 8:55 p.m., Hungry Hill Drive/Highway 226, Scio. Deputies assisted a landowner in removing a fallen tree from the roadway.
Motorist Assist, 9:20 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Deputies helped a motorist push their car off the roadway.
Suspicious Vehicle, 9:22 p.m., Fairview Street, Mill City. Deputy located a parked vehicle on the side of the road, and contacted male occupant who was meeting with friends.
Noise Disturbance, 9:27 p.m., SW Third Avenue/Highway 226, Scio. Deputies contacted a homeowner with a loud radio going. Homeowner turned off the radio.
Suspicious Person, 11:36 p.m., SW Second Avenue, Mill City. Deputy referred a female, 16, of Mill City to Linn County Juvenile Department for MIP – alcohol. Juvenile was released to a responsible adult.
