Canned food drive for Santiam students

Santiam Junior/Senior High is hosting a food drive for students to take home for winter break through Dec. 13.

Suggested items include peanut butter, jelly, bread, tortillas, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, tuna, pickles, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti noodles and sauce, Top Ramen, Cup of Noodles, soups, chili, canned meats, cereal, flavored oatmeal, pancake mix, syrup, apples, oranges, canned fruit, canned vegetables, boxed chips, fruit snacks, granola bars, popcorn and trail mix.

Food items can be dropped off in Mill City at City Hall, 444 S First Ave.; Dollar General, 250 NW Santiam Blvd.; US Bank, 400 NW Santiam Blvd.; 7Star Grocery, 829 SW First Ave.; Santiam Elementary, 450 SW Evergreen St.; and Santiam Junior/Senior High, 300 SW Cedar St.
