Fraud, 9:15 a.m., Highway 226, Scio. Deputy spoke with caller about an attempted fraud.

Traffic Stop, 10:36 a.m., Highway 226, Scio. Driver warned for no front license plate.

Dog Complaint, 10:53 a.m., Hungry Hill Drive, Scio. Dog owner issued written warning for dog as a public nuisance.

Traffic Stop, 11:07 a.m., SE Cedar St., Scio. Driver warned for no front license plate.

Traffic Stop, 11:37 a.m., Highway 226/SW Sixth Avenue, Scio. Driver cited for use of an electronic device while operating a vehicle.

Traffic Stop, 12:28 p.m., SW Fifth Avenue/SW Elderberry Street, Scio. Driver warned for distracted driving.

Traffic Stop, 12:55 p.m., SW Elderberry Street/SW Fifth Avenue, Scio. Driver warned for failure to obey traffic control device.

Extra Patrol, 3:12 p.m., Cedar Mill Road, Lyons.

Violation of Order, 3:24 p.m., Larwood Drive, Scio. Deputy investigated a violation of restraining order.

Found Dog, 4:19 p.m., Highway 226, Lyons. Deputies found a dog running at large. Dog made its way back to its owner.

Dog Complaint, 6:20 p.m., Meridian Road/Fish Hatchery Drive, Scio. Found dogs lodged at Animal Control.

Shots Heard, 7:47 p.m., NW Clayton Place, Scio. Deputies investigated a possible illegal shooting inside city limits.

Extra Patrol, 9:10 p.m., Fairview Street, Mill City. Deputies conducted proactive patrols in Mill City, focusing on Kimmel Park.

Forest Timber Patrol, 7:53 a.m., Monument Peak Road, Gates. Patrolled ODF, BLM and Weyerhaeuser properties.

Forest Timber Patrol, 1:39 p.m., Thomas Creek Drive, Scio. Patrolled Weyerhaeuser, Follansbee, BLM and ODF properties.

Burglary, 1:57 p.m., NE Ash Street, Scio. Deputies responded to a possible burglary. Garage door was not closed all the way and nothing was stolen.

Suspicious Circumstance, 2:07 p.m., Thomas Creek Drive, Scio. Cut lock on a Weyerhaeuser gate. Gate was on a dead end logging road. Lock was replaced.

Suspicious Circumstance, 2:12 p.m., Thomas Creek Drive, Scio. Abandoned vehicle found on state forest land.

Harassment, 2:48 p.m., Bilyeu Creek Road, Scio. Deputies responded to an argument between an elderly woman and her adult children. Non-criminal matter.

Assist Other Agency, 1:57 a.m., Rodgers Mountain Loop, Scio. Deputies checked on the fire department that was not answering the radio.

Disturbance, 9:05 a.m., Robinson Drive, Scio. Deputies responded to a disturbance between a male and his disabled adult son.

Suspicious Person, 8:54 a.m., Goar Road, Scio. Field contact with two individuals.

Suspicious Circumstance, 9:11 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Mill City. Deputy contacted caller who was initially concerned about a theft of service. Caller was unsure whether this actually occurred. Information noted.

Suspicious Vehicle, 10:05 a.m., Main Street, Lyons. Deputy located vehicle that was blocking the bicycle lane. Vehicle was removed from road.

Disturbance, 10:50 a.m., Robinson Drive, Scio. Deputies responded to a family dispute.

Stolen Vehicle, 10:58 a.m., SW Evergreen Street, Mill City.

Threats, 12:35 p.m., S McCully Mountain Road, Lyons. Deputy spoke with caller regarding threats and an animal complaint.

Assist Other Agency, 6:28 p.m., Stayton-Scio Loop, Scio. Deputies assisted a P&P officer with attempting to locate a subject. A warrant was issued for the male on 11/18/22.

Suspicious Vehicle, 7:39 p.m., Mt. Pleasant and Kingston-Jordan drives, Scio. Deputies unable to locate a suspicious vehicle.

Nov. 18

Phone Harassment, 12:11 a.m., Highway 226, Scio. Deputies explained phone harassment to an individual.

Traffic Stop, 2:06 a.m., Highway 226, Scio. Driver warned for speeding.

Suspicious Vehicle, 2:33 a.m., Neighbors Lane, Lyons. License plates were seized off a vehicle they did not belong to.

Extra Patrol, 3:11 a.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. No vehicles in parking lots and nobody in the covered area at Kimmel Park.

Suspicious Vehicle, 3:56 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Mill City. Deputies attempted to catch up to a vehicle that was speeding but failed.

Abandoned Vehicle, 9:35 a.m., SW Second Avenue/SW Ginko Street, Scio. Suspicious vehicle located and occupants were identified. The driver, female, 30, of Scio, was cited in lieu of custody for a warrant out of Albany Municipal Court.

Suspicious Vehicle, 10:39 a.m., Highway 226, Scio. Suspicious vehicle located on a dirt lot of Thomas Creek and Highway 226. No one in or near the vehicle.

Extra Patrol, 11:08 a.m., 18th Street, Lyons. Extra patrol of an abandoned site.

Counter Traffic, 3:08 p.m., 10th Street, Lyons. Deputies spoke with a person about their registration.

Assist Other Agency, 4:22 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Person was found lying near the side of the road. They were tired from walking. Provided a courtesy ride home.

Forest Timber Patrol, 5:15 p.m., Quartzville Road, Idanha.

Abandoned Vehicle, 5:45 p.m., Neighbors Lane, Lyons. Suspicious vehicle was gone on arrival.

Disturbance, 6:45 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Deputies attempted a welfare check on a drunk female. Deputies were unable to locate.

Domestic Disturbance, 8:58 p.m., Third Street, Scio. Deputies responded to a verbal domestic disturbance. No crimes reported.

Suspicious Vehicle, 11:52 p.m., Fifth Street, Lyons. Suspicious vehicle left prior to deputy arriving. Deputy was unable to locate.

Nov. 19

Domestic Disturbance, 12:33 a.m., Main Street, Lyons. Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance. Parties agreed to separate for the night. Non-criminal.

Person Assist, 2:44 a.m., Richardson Gap Road/Fish Hatchery Drive, Scio. Deputy assisted disabled individual who’s mobility scooter came loose from holder on the road.

Extra Patrol, 6:26 a.m., Cedar Mill Road, Lyons. No illegal activity noted.

911 Hang Up, 5:54 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Deputies spoke to a female who accidentally called 911. Female advised she was OK.

911 Hang Up, 9:11 p.m., SE Willow Street, Idahna. Deputies responded to a 911 hang up call and determined everyone was OK.

Extra Patrol, 11:21 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Deputies conducted focused patrols in Mill City.

Extra Patrol, 11:42 p.m., SE Sixth Avenue, Mill City. Deputies conducted crime prevention patrols at Kimmel Park.

Nov. 20

Forest Timber Patrol, 8:01 a.m., Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Vehicle in permit area without a permit. Warning with a business card left on windshield.

Suspicious Person, 8:53 a.m., Fish Hatchery Drive, Scio. Deputies checked area and were not able to locate the individual. .

Dog Complaint, 11:56 a.m., Robinson Drive, Scio. All animals on the property had plenty of feed and water. There was no sign of animal neglect.

Assist Other Agency, 1:29 p.m., NW Alder Street, Mill City. Assisted with information and contact of suspected hit and run driver. The incident occurred in Silverton.

Forest Timber Patrol, 3:34 p.m., Quartzville Road, Idanha. Located unoccupied illegal camp near Mile Post 26 on USFS. Camp was tagged for removal.

Suspicious Vehicle, 3:58 p.m., N First Avenue/NE Wall Street, Mill City. Rafter advised to remove her vehicle from the overlook. She complied.

Nov. 21

Suspicious Vehicle, 1:44 a.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Deputies contacted male parked in front of local laundromat.

Suspicious Circumstance, 4:38 a.m., Stayton-Scio Loop, Scio. Deputies responded to a female who was having a mental health episode, induced by alcohol. Medics ensured the female was OK; not suicidal.

Traffic Stop, 6:37 a.m., Richardson Gap Road/Montgomery Drive, Scio. Driver cited for 80 MPH in 55 MPH zone.
