Dog Complaint, 9:19 a.m., SW Gingko Street, Scio. Dog owner issued written warning for dog violations.

Shots Heard, 11:15 a.m., N Main Street, Scio. Deputies responded to a call of an accidental discharge.

Fraud, 12:30 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Fraudulent charges found on bank account.

Assist Other Agency, 12:40 p.m., Richardson Gap Road, Scio. Deputies assisted the Juvenile Department with taking a male into custody.

Traffic Hazard, 2:13 p.m., Brock Drive, Scio. Deputy found a blind horse near the roadway. Owner was found and horse was returned.

Dog Complaint, 2:53 p.m., SW Broadway Street/S First Avenue, Mill City. Transported stray dog to Animal Control.

Suspicious Vehicle, 6:17 p.m., SE Kingwood and SE Second avenues, Mill City. Traffic hazard was moved from the roadway.

Warrant, 6:31 p.m., Rodgers Mountain Loop, Scio. Female, 21, of Scio was issued a citation in lieu of custody for a warrant for failure to appear.

Oct. 26

City Ordinance Violation, 10:10 a.m., SW Broadway Street, Mill City. 20-year-old from Mill City was cited for a Mill City Municipal Code violation for illegal burning.

City Ordinance Violation, 10:31 a.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. 73-year-old from Mill City was cited for Mill City Municipal Code violation for junk debris and abandoned vehicles.

Civil Dispute, 11:18 a.m., Robinson Drive, Scio. Deputies responded to a property line dispute. Non-criminal matter.

Suspicious Vehicle, 11:32 a.m., Camp Morrison Drive/Bilyeu Creek Road, Scio. Deputies checked area for suspicious vehicle. Vehicle left prior to deputies’ arrival.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle, 12:06 p.m., Myers Place, Scio. Vehicle stolen from Lebanon was recovered.

Extra Patrol, 12:30 p.m., SE Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Extra patrol in Mill City for speeding issues.

Traffic Stop, 12:45 p.m., Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Driver warned for speed.

Extra Patrol, 2:59 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Deputies conducted school bus enforcement. No violation observed.

Extra Patrol, 3:36 p.m., S First Avenue/SW Evergreen Street, Mill City. Deputies monitored crosswalk after school. No violation observed.

Suspicious Circumstance, 3:59 p.m., Gates School Road, Gates. Suspect caused damage to property upon leaving. The suspect was trespassed and advised to get a hold of the victim for damages per the victim’s request.

Suspicious Vehicle, 5:58 p.m., Ridge Drive, Scio. Deputy contacted female parked on the side of the road. Female was then stopped after leaving the location and cited for driving while suspended and failure to install IID.

Prowler, 8:02 p.m., SE Second Avenue, Mill City. Caller reported someone tried to enter their house and banged on the front door after not gaining entry. The person fled the scene. Deputies were unable to locate the person.

Oct. 27

Extra Patrol, 2:48 a.m., SW Third Avenue, Mill City. Neighborhood patrol of south Mill City. All quiet.

Extra Patrol, 3:08 a.m., NE Santiam Pointe Loop, Mill City. Neighborhood patrol of north Mill City. All seemed quiet.

Animal Complaint, 7:34 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Report of a deer hit by a car. No vehicle or deer were located.

Minor-in-Possession, 8:11 a.m., Fifth Street, Lyons. Companion report to a DHS fax.

Civil Dispute, 2:41 p.m., N Main Street, Scio. Civil dispute over a house and a ring. Resolved. No crimes committed.

Forest Timber Patrol, 2:54 p.m., Camp Morrison Drive, Scio. Private timber patrol. One vehicle contacted with proper pass. Checked on multiple pieces of equipment. None appeared altered.

Trespass, 3:22 p.m., Stayton-Scio Road, Scio. Caller wanted an acquaintance trespassed from his property.

Extra Patrol, 9:11 p.m., SW Evergreen Street, Mill City. Deputies attended part of the last high school football game of the season.

Park Patrol, 10:01 p.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City, Patrolled Kimmel Park. Nothing suspicious was seen.

Extra Patrol, 10:51 p.m., SE Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. No egregious violations observed.

Disturbance, 11:17 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Disturbance between family members.

Extra Patrol, 2:44 a.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Neighborhood patrol of south Mill City. All seemed quiet.

Traffic Stop, 7:47 a.m., Fifth Street, Lyons. Driver cited for failure to renew vehicle registration.

Traffic Stop, 1:57 p.m., SE Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Driver cited for driving uninsured.

Suspicious Circumstance, 2:52 p.m., 14th Street, Lyons. Welfare check. Everybody was OK.

Traffic Stop, 3:31 p.m., SE Kingwood and SE Second avenues, Mill City. Driver cited for driving uninsured and failure to register vehicle.

Suspicious Person, 3:41 p.m., SW Broadway Street, Mill City. Female walking in the road.

Warrant, 5:04 p.m., SE Fourth and SE Kingwood avenues, Mill City. Female, 53, of Mill City was arrested and lodged at Linn County Jail for failure to appear warrants.

Stolen Vehicle, 6:39 p.m., Stayton-Scio Loop, Scio. Report of a stolen vehicle.

Assist Other Agency, 10:31 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Assisted OSP with a crash.

Traffic Stop, 7:43 a.m., Fish Hatchery Drive/Richardson Gap Road, Scio. Driver warned for speed.

Fraud, 8:07 a.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Report of an individual attempting to use a fake $100 bill to purchase an item.

Animal Complaint, 9:26 a.m., SW Linn Blvd., Mill City. Deputies investigate an animal complaint.

Dog Complaint, 9:36 a.m., SW Evergreen Street, Mill City. Loose dog.

Theft, 10:46 a.m., Shoreline Drive, Lyons. Items stolen from property.

Theft, 12:19 p.m., SW Ivy Street, Mill City. Caller reported a lawn edger was taken from their front yard. $100 value. Ongoing investigation.

Harassment, 8:24 p.m., SE Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Verbal argument between mother and adult daughter. Nothing physical. No crimes.

Oct. 30

Water Rescue, 9:21 a.m., Hess Road, Scio. Albany Fire Department and LCSO deputies rescued two hunters stranded on the North Santiam River when the boat got stuck in a log jam.

Suspicious Circumstance, 11:48 a.m., Shimanek Bridge Drive, Scio. Nothing criminal.

Suspicious Person, 4:28 p.m., W Scio Road, Scio. Report of a male stealing food off porches and opening mail boxes.

Traffic Stop, 8:11 p.m., Jefferson-Scio and Shelburn drives, Scio. Driver cited for 83 MPH in 55 MPH zone.

Suspicious Person, 6:55 p.m., W Scio Road, Scio. Caller reported a suspicious male came to their door.

Dog Complaint, 10:17 a.m., SW Douglas Street, Mill City. Transported stray dog to Animal Control.

Abandoned Vehicle, 10:52 a.m., SW Second Avenue/SW Cedar Street, Mill City. Deputies tagged abandoned vehicles.

Traffic Stop, 11:42 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Driver warned for failure to maintain lane.

Forest Timber Patrol, 12:09 p.m., Camp Morrison Drive, Scio. Patrolled BLM property.

Forest Timber Patrol, 2:34 p.m., Larwood Drive, Scio. Patrolled BLM property.

Forest Timber Patrol, 3:21 p.m., Larwood Drive, Scio. Followed up with illegal camp to ensure it was vacated.

Domestic Disturbance, 4:09 p.m., Main Street, Lyons. Verbal only. Deputies were unable to locate the male party who had a confirmed warrant out of Linn County.

Extra Patrol, 6:19 p.m., SW Ivy Street, Mill City. Extra patrol while trick-or-treaters made their rounds on Halloween.

Disturbance, 6:59 p.m., SW Linn Place, Mill City. Male, 48, of Lyons was cited in lieu of custody for Assault IV and Harassment.

Sex Offense, 8:10 p.m., Mill City. Deputies took a report of a sex offense involving a juvenile. Ongoing investigation.

Harassment, 9:06 p.m., SW Linn Place, Mill City. Female, 19, of Mill City was cited in lieu of custody for harassment.
