Canyon Senior Center plans annual holiday dinner

The Canyon Senior Center announces its annual Holiday Dinner. The free dinner is set for noon Nov. 17 at Gates Community Church. Call Jan or Mike at 503-897-4902 to RSVP. Donations accepted.  

CSC continues to accept donations of cans and bottles, used medical devices and books. Medical devices are available to borrow at no charge. Contact one of the board member names posted on the front door for assistance.  

Bible Study is on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon at Liberty Fellowship Church.  

Pinochle is on Fridays from 1 to 4 p.m.  

The St. Pauly container continues to accept donations of clean used clothing. The container is for clothing only; do not put toys or other items in it.   

Monthly soup luncheons will resume in January 2023, and will be held on the third Thursday of the month. The free luncheons offer a selection of three or four different soups, rolls and assorted desserts, except the summer months when the menu includes salad, rolls and desserts. There is no luncheon in December. Donations are always accepted.

The Canyon Senior Center is at 844 S First Ave., in Mill City.
