Food Preservation Workshop – 9 a.m. – noon, Santiam Community Gardens, 846 Fifth St., Lyons. Pressure canning low-acid vegetables: beans, corn, beets, carrots. All supplies furnished. Take home products. Space is limited. Participants who demonstrate safety and understanding of processes may arrange the Community Gardens canning kitchen at their convenience including traditional, electric and digital canners and dryers.
