Lyons Fire hosts Movies at the Station

The Lyons Fire Station is hosting its first Movies at the Station this Friday, Aug. 26. The event kicks off with “The Sandlot.” Additional movie nights are Sept. 23 and Oct. 28.

It is a cardboard box “Drive In” for the kids. The fire station will provided boxes for the kids to decorate and use to sit in during the movie. Boxes are limited and are available while supplies last.

Adults can bring a blanket or chairs to sit in the grassy area. There are no restrooms open to the public at the fire station.

Weather permitting, the movie will begin at dusk in the parking lot area of the Lyons Fire Station.
