Suspicious vehicle, 8:08 a.m., Highway 226/Jordan Road, Scio. Vehicle illegally parked. Citizen agreed to move vehicle.

Extra Patrol, 8:43 a.m., SW Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Caller requested extra patrol at the Post Office.

Traffic Stop, 9:18 a.m., SW Evergreen Street/SW Second Avenue, Mill City. Driver stopped for terminated insurance. Driver provided copy of current insurance.

Traffic Stop, 9:54 a.m., SE Ivy Street/S First Avenue, Mill City. Driver cited for failure to register vehicle.

Traffic Stop, 10:37 a.m., N First Avenue/NE Wall Street, Mill City. Driver cited for driving while suspended violation and warned for equipment violations.

Traffic Stop, 11:19 a.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Driver cited for driving uninsured.

Burglary, 11:32 a.m., Stayton-Scio Road, Stayton. Theft of lawn mower, worth $500 from Arc Veterinary Clinic.

Suspicious Circumstance, 1:57 p.m., SW Parkside Drive, Mill City. Caller wanted to have a suspicious circumstance documented.

Assist Other Agency, 2:44 p.m., Lulay Road, Scio. Deputy responded to assist medics for a fall alarm. False alarm.

July 6

Domestic Disturbance, 4:16 a.m., Rock Creek Road, Gates. Criminal mischief resulting in $500 damage.

Traffic Stop, 9:22 a.m., NW First Avenue, Scio. Driver warned for holding a non-functional cell phone.

Assist Other Agency, 3 p.m., Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Deputies responded to a structure fire. Deputies made sure citizens were safe.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle, 4:49 p.m., SW Spring Street, Mill City.

Trespass, 9:11 p.m., SW Alder Street, Scio. Caller was provided information on the eviction process.

Shots Heard, 9:18 p.m., Gilkey and Goar roads, Scio. Caller reported someone possibly shooting from a vehicle. Deputies were unable to locate.

Traffic Stop, 10:23 p.m., Highway 226/SE Cedar Street, Scio. Driver warned for illegal lighting.

Sex Offense, 10:50 p.m., Mill City. Deputies investigating sexual allegations.

July 7

Assist Other Agency, 8:51 a.m., Highway 226, Scio. Deputy attempted to contact a person in relation to another case. No one was home.

Sex Offense, 10:39 a.m., Mill City. No public narrative.

Dog Complaint, 11:01 a.m., SE Third Avenue, Mill City. Report of dogs barking. No crimes were found.

Sex Offense, 1:12 p.m., Mill City. Report pending.

Burglary, 1:44 p.m., Blowout Road, Idanha. Caller reported items missing from his vacation cabin.

Burglary, 2:53 p.m., Miller Cemetery Road, Scio. Trespass in an abandoned property. Ongoing issue.

Animal Complaint, 3:07 p.m., SW First Avenue, Mill City. Dog was no longer out when deputies arrived.

Found Property, 3:31 p.m., SW Sixth Avenue, Mill City. Wallet found at Scio High baseball fields; turned in to Scio Fire Dept. Wallet was placed in evidence locker at LCSO.

Dog Complaint, 5:12 p.m., SW Broadway Street, Mill City. Dog was no longer out when deputies arrived.

Traffic Stop, 5:20 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Driver warned about seat belt use.

Traffic Stop, 6:16 p.m., SE Third and SE Kingwood avenues, Mill City. Driver warned for speed.

Traffic Stop, 6:36 p.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Driver warned for speed.

Traffic Stop, 6:42 p.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Driver cited for 60 MPH in 40 MPH zone.

Extra Patrol, 7:16 p.m., Miller Cemetery Road, Scio. Extra patrol of an abandoned house. 

Traffic Stop, 7:25 p.m., NE Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Driver warned for speed.

July 8

Disturbance, 2:07 a.m., Rock Creek Road, Gates. Report of male screaming at his residence. Deputies were not able to locate male.

Juvenile Complaint, 4:12 p.m., W Scio Road, Scio. Deputies investigated a report of MIP marijuana; it was referred to Juvenile Department. While investigating, deputies learned of potential child exploitation being committed. Ongoing investigation.

July 9

Criminal Mischief, 12:21 p.m., NE Santiam Pointe Loop, Mill City. Lock box vandalized.

Noise Disturbance, 9:20 p.m., NW Alder Street, Mill City. Loud party was asked to be more quiet.

July 10

Parking Complaint, 2:25 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Deputy contacted multiple persons parked in a no parking area at a popular swim hole. Persons removed vehicles without incident.

Trespass, 2:52 p.m., Goar Road, Scio. Deputy responded to trespass call of several people jumping from small bridge.

Found Property, 3:02 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Deputy responded to a found property at a church.

Theft, 4:47 p.m., SW Linn Place, Mill City. Caller reported possible theft of gas from a jet ski. Male caught trespassing on the property and ran off by caller’s son.

Suspicious Circumstance, 8:11 p.m., Gray Pine Street, Lyons. Deputy contacted citizen regarding a neighborhood dispute. No crime.

July 11

Theft, 10:37 p.m., Monument Peak Road, Gates. Female, 53, of Mill City arrested and cited in lieu of custody on Theft II and Criminal Trespass II charges.

Criminal Mischief, 2:09 p.m., Miller Cemetery Road, Scio. Caller wanted it documented that a window was shattered to a property she is looking after. 

Criminal Mischief, 2:43 p.m., Ridge Drive, Scio. Caller wanted it documented that someone had taken a screwdriver to a shop door and scratched it. 

Suspicious Circumstance, 2:58 p.m., Hungry Hill Drive, Scio. Deputies investigated suspicious debris in the river. It was determined to be trash.

Parking Complaint, 4:08 p.m., Jordan Road, Scio. Parking complaint at Jordan Bridge. Vehicles were moved.

Threats, 4:43 p.m., Cedar Street, Lyons. Caller wanted it documented that an ex-husband threatened current husband over Facebook Messenger.

Assault, 6:26 p.m., 25th Street, Lyons. Caller did not want to press charges and only wanted the suspect verbally warned for assaulting her.
