Sherri Annette Hemphill, 54, of Mill City died June 7, 2022. She was born on Jan. 29, 1968, to Paul and Ruth Johnston in Salem. Sherri went into retail after completing high school. She married Derick Hemphill on March 28, 1994 in Stayton. Her hobbies included her love for helping others, taking care of family and gardening.
Sherri is preceded in death by her father, Paul Johnston; and sister, Ginger Johnston. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Johnston; brothers, Paul Johnston, Mike (Josie) Johnston and Patrick Johnston; sister, Doris Wood; and children, Holly and Logan Hemphill.
