9 a.m. – noon, Roaring River County Park, 42000 Fish Hatchery Dr., Scio. Bait, tackle provided. Age 17 and under. No license required. Provide input about future plans for Roaring River Pond.

There will be food, fun and access to services such as SNAP and Oregon Health Plan along with representatives from Santiam Hospital, Family Building Blocks, Goodwill Job Connections and more. Friday, June 24

POW-MIA Memorial Ride – 10:45 a.m., Sublimity. The Oregon Veterans Motorcycle Association will stop in Sublimity for fuel and lunch. Citizens can line S Center Street to wave American flags as the group comes in from Hwy 22. The group will proceed to Church Park to honor the Oregon POW/MIA families and local veterans. Flags are available at Sublimity City Hall while supplies last.
