Accident, 12:22 p.m., Kelly and Gilkey roads, Scio. Adult male crashed his vehicle after passing a stop sign at a “T” intersection. Unknown if it was a mechanical problem or driver’s error. Driver was transported to the hospital.
Dog Complaint, 1:36 p.m., SW Broadway Street, Mill City. Deputy unable to locate stray dog.
Assist, 4:50 p.m., Kingston-Jordan Road, Scio. Deputy responded for a cardiac arrest. Medics performed CPR and transported the patient.
Suspicious Person, 7:18 p.m., N Main Street, Scio. Deputies responded to suspicious male in Scio. Male left area.
Theft, 7:21 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Mill City. Deputies responded to an ongoing civil issue. Parties came to resolution.

investigated criminal mischief/

Domestic Disturbance, 4:42 a.m., NE Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Domestic disturbance, verbal in nature.
Suspicious Circumstance, 9:27 a.m., Myers Place, Scio. Caller, whom is known to have mental health issues, reported hearing a woman scream for help. Deputies responded and found nobody in need of assistance.
Extra Patrol, 9:47 a.m., N Main Street, Scio. Speed enforcement.
Traffic Stop, 10:05 a.m., N Main Street, Scio. Driver warned for speed.
Dog Complaint, 10:32 a.m., SW Broadway Street, Mill City. Deputies located the house where the stray dog lives and issued a written warning to owner for dog at large. City ordinances were explained to owner.
Suspicious Circumstance, 11:31 a.m., Stayton-Scio Road/Slangal Drive, Scio. Driving complaint.
Criminal Mischief, 12:26 p.m., S McCully Mountain Road, Lyons. Logging equipment damaged at job site.
Illegal Camping, 2:39 p.m., Monument Peak Road, Gates. Fifth-wheel trailer reported as a transient camp. No one was with the trailer and the camp was clean. Deputy will check back as time allows.
Forest Timber Patrol, 2:57 p.m., Monument Peak Road, Gates. Patrolled the area checking for illegal camps on ODF. None were found.
Threats, 3:48 p.m., W Scio Road, Scio. Deputies responded to report of threats.
Suspicious Circumstance, 8:51 p.m., Ridge Drive, Scio. Deputy checked the area for a source of a possible green laser light reported by FAA. The source was not positively identified.
Trespass, 9:36 p.m., NW First Avenue, Scio. Caller reported a disturbance with a female acquaintance. Female left and no crimes were reported.
Park Patrol, 11:22 p.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Deputy conducted extra patrol at Kimmel Park. No suspicious vehicles or persons observed.

Traffic Stop, 11:05 p.m., SW Linn Blvd., Mill City. Male, 21, of Mill City was cited on multiple warrants including out of Mill City Municipal Court and Linn County Circuit Court. He was also cited on a traffic violation.

Stolen Vehicle, 1:02 a.m., SE Hazel Street, Mill City. Deputies investigated possible stolen vehicle case.
Extra Patrol, 4:02 a.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Deputies conducted crime prevention patrols at local businesses, parks, schools and neighborhoods throughout Mill City.
Prowler, 4:18 a.m., NE Alder Street, Mill City. Deputies investigated a suspicious circumstance.
Trespass, 10:42 a.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Three juvenile males were trespassing on a vacant lot. They were there a few minutes and left before a deputy arrived.
Found Dog, 11:15 a.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Report of a loose dog. Deputy was unable to locate.
Disturbance, 12:48 p.m., SE Fourth Avenue, Mill City. Adult male threatened his grandfather who owes him money. Deputy looked for male to warn him against trespassing, but did not locate him.
Forest Timber Patrol, 3:16 p.m., Rock Creek Road, Gates. Patrolled BLM property.
Juvenile Complaint, 4:36 p.m., SW Ivy Street, Mill City. Adult reported juveniles kicking a ball against her fence. She asked them to stop and they did. No need for law enforcement.
Extra Patrol, 7:25 p.m., Hungry Hill Drive, Scio. Caller requested extra patrol.
Abandoned Vehicle, 7:55 p.m., Rock Creek Road/Pebble Drive, Gates. Deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle that appeared to have been involved in a collision in the woods.

Suspicious Circumstance, 9:44 a.m., N Main Street, Scio. An arrow was found stuck in someone’s side yard. It showed up between 11 p.m. 4/9 and 6:30 a.m. 4/10. It is unknown where it came from.
Domestic Disturbance, 12:23 p.m., Robinson Drive, Scio. Male, 53, of Scio was arrested for violating his release agreement after returning to a residence he was prohibited from being at.
Traffic Complaint, 1:28 p.m., Henness Lane/Monument Peak Road, Gates. Deputy spoke with caller regarding a lot of traffic on the road coming and going from the Monument Peak Trailhead parking lot on ODF property. Caller requested extra patrol.
Traffic Complaint, 1:47 p.m., Monument Peak Road/Henness Lane, Gates. Deputies spoke with a man who wanted to report a near vehicle collision. No injuries and neither vehicles crashed.
DUII, 2 p.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Restaurant manager reported a possible DUII driver at her business. Deputies responded and conducted an area check, but was unable to locate.
Domestic Disturbance, 7:26 p.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Disturbance between family members. Parties were separated and one stayed the night at a friend’s house.
Suspicious Vehicle, 7:37 p.m., Dogwood Road, Mill City. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle. Deputies checked the area and did not locate any vehicles.
Littering Violation, 9:16 p.m., Monument Peak and Gates School roads, Gates. Caller reported littering. Deputies located vehicle occupants who were picking up metal scrap in the woods.
Noise Disturbance, 10:26 p.m., NE First Avenue, Scio. Deputies did not hear music in the area – only rainfall.

Suspicious Person, 3:51 p.m., Hungry Hill Drive, Scio. Deputies were dispatched to a report of someone getting into mailboxes. Unable to locate.
