Fire district planning new station

Idanha-Detroit RFPD is seeking volunteers to assist in the design, planning, and construction of a new fire station.

The committee will meet regularly to discuss planning, location, and design of the new station in response to a $2.4 million grant that will soon be awarded to the fire district.

Anyone interested in volunteering time, equipment, materials or expert knowledge to help design the new fire station, please contact us.

The fire district is especially looking for architects, planners, contractors, and others who may have experience and knowledge in architectural design.

If you don’t have experience but still want to volunteer, no problem. The district is also seeking residents of Idanha and Detroit to represent both cities within the fire district.

Call 503-854-3540 or email [email protected] prior to May 15, if you are interested in being a part of the building committee or need more information.
