Traffic Hazard, 2:45 p.m., Myers Place, Scio. Caller reported a vehicle at the property. Vehicle had a flat tire and repairs were being made.
Traffic Complaint, 5:18 p.m., Shilling Drive/Stayton-Scio Road, Scio. Caller reported poor driving. Deputies unable to locate vehicle.
Feb. 16
Theft, 12:04 a.m., SW Linn Blvd., Mill City. Purse stolen from inside of vehicle. Total loss: $520.
Accident, 2:02 a.m., 13th Street, Lyons. Caller found damage to a fence and garbage can. No vehicle was found. Property owner could not be reached.
Suspicious Vehicle, 4:28 a.m., SW Kingwood and SW High avenues, Mill City. Vehicle was a newspaper delivery driver.
Burglary, 9:39 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Caller reported a firearm was stolen from his travel trailer. Ongoing investigation.
Elder Abuse, 11:21 a.m., Highway 226, Scio. Caller reported a civil matter involving ownership of vehicles.
Dog Complaint, 2:37 p.m., Providence Drive, Scio. Deputy attempted contact with dog owner regarding dog violations.
Traffic Stop, 4:46 p.m., SE Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Driver warned for speed.
Suspicious Vehicle, 8:47 p.m., SW Cedar Street, Mill City. Deputy unable to locate vehicle.
Disturbance, 8:56 p.m., SW Linn Blvd., Mill City. Male, 31, taken into custody for harassment (2 counts) and disorderly conduct II. He was lodged at Linn County Jail.

Security Check, 4:41 a.m., Thomas Creek Drive, Scio. Camp secure.
Dog Complaint, 9:11 a.m., Providence Drive, Scio. Dog owner issued written warning for dog at large, chasing vehicle and failure to license.
Suspicious Vehicle, 10:25 a.m., Huntley Road/Kingston-Jordan Drive, Scio. All was well.
Littering Violation, 11:43 a.m., Camp Morrison Drive, Scio. Old pickup bed camper was found dumped on BLM property. Ongoing investigation.
Domestic Disturbance, 1:27 p.m., SW Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Non-criminal at the time.
Dog Complaint, 2:20 p.m., Third Street, Scio. Dog owner issued written warning for dog at large and failure to license dog.
Suspicious Circumstance, 3:40 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Mill City. Renter/landlord dispute.

Traffic Stop, 10:23 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Driver warned for lighting violation.

Trespass, 9:40 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Mill City. Deputies discussed a civil issue with property owner.
Suspicious Person, 5:28 p.m., Fisher Street, Scio. Deputy checked the area for a “beat up” vehicle. Unable to locate.
Shots Heard, 8:30 p.m., Kelly Road, Scio. Shots fired but ceased prior to contact.
Feb. 19
Recovered Stolen Vehicle, 8:32 a.m., Sandner Drive, Scio. Vehicle recovered that was originally stolen from Marion County.
Shots Heard, 11:09 p.m., Myers Place, Scio. Deputies checked area after a resident heard a gunshot and a woman yelling. Nothing suspicious found.
Fireworks Complaint, 11:17 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Deputy checked the area and all was quiet when they arrived.
Feb. 20
Suspicious Circumstance, 1:23 a.m., Myers Place, Scio. Caller thought he saw someone on the edge of his property. Deputy was unable to locate anyone or anything suspicious.
Civil Dispute, 8:31 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Mill City. Caller had eviction questions.
Civil Dispute, 9:13 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Mill City. Civil dispute over living conditions.
Suspicious Circumstance, 9:14 a.m., Camp Morrison Drive/Bilyeu Creek Road, Scio. Deputies responded to rock pit on BLM property regarding trash all over the ground from several campers still sleeping in their vehicles. All subjects were contacted and told to clean up trash before leaving. Deputy stayed on scene until all trash was picked up.
Suspicious Circumstance, 10:08 a.m., Myers Place, Scio. Caller reported someone calling for help in the area. Deputies found no one in need of help.
Suspicious Circumstance, 12:50 p.m., Sw Tuers Lane, Mill City. Responded with Weyerhaeuser timber security regarding a shelter built on its property. Shelter appeared to have been built by a juvenile. Parent was located and asked to have his son remove the shelter.
Suspicious Vehicle, 5:49 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Caller reported suspicious activity but nothing criminal.
Custodial Interference, 6:51 p.m., NW Fourth Avenue, Scio. Caller’s complaint was resolved prior to my contact.

Welfare Check, 8:16 a.m., SE Ash Street, Scio. All was well.
Abandoned Vehicle, 8:18 a.m., Fish Hatchery and Lombardy drives, Scio. Abandoned vehicle removed by registered owner.
Forest Timber Patrol, 11:46 a.m., Thomas Creek Drive, Scio. Deputy patrolled Weyerhaeuser, BLM, Avery and ODF property. Nothing to report.
Forest Timber Patrol, 2:03 p.m., Monument Peak Road, Gates. Deputy patrolled ODF and BLM property. Nothing to report.
Extra Patrol, 8:59 p.m., SE Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Traffic enforcement. No citations or warnings issued.
Traffic Hazard, 11:02 p.m., SW Broadway Street/S First Avenue, Mill City. Deputies observed a large amount of gravel at the intersection. Deputies were able to clear the debris from the roadway.
