Mill City Lions Club cancels Sweetheart Dessert Auction

It has been a year since we had to cancel our Lions Club Sweetheart Dessert Auction last year. And sadly, we must do it again. Hopes for a healthy banquet environment have just not materialized.

But this year’s senior graduates will not miss out. The Lions Club will again offer scholarships with money in our reserves along with funds donated by Canyon folks in place of last year’s cancelled event.

Once again, thank you for your incredible generosity last year.

Here is what we are asking for 2022. The Santiam Scholarship Dinner and Auction is scheduled for May 21. It is always an amazing event. We ask that you give your support to that hardworking group of community members and parents. It’s all scholarship funding and goes to the same bunch of seniors. So please attend, make a cash donation, or an item to be auctioned off. Make this the best banquet ever.
