Person Assist, 9:46 a.m., Robinson Drive, Scio. Deputy provided information to caller.

Extra Patrol, 9:47 a.m., Main Street, Lyons. Traffic enforcement.

Traffic Stop, 9:55 a.m., Main Street, Lyons. Driver cited for 53 MPH in 35 MPH zone.

Traffic Stop, 10:37 a.m., Main Street, Lyons. Driver cited for driving while suspended and warned for speed.

Traffic Stop, 11:03 a.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Driver cited for driving while suspended and failing to provide proof of insurance. Passenger, female, 26, of Dallas arrested on warrants.

Suspicious Circumstance, 11:27 a.m., Main Street, Lyons. Deputies took a call about a suspicious vehicle. Nothing criminal found.

Extra Patrol, 12:19 p.m., SW Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Traffic enforcement.

Traffic Stop, 12:37 p.m., SW Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Driver cited for driving while suspended, failing to install and IID, failure to register vehicle and driving without insurance.

Traffic Stop, 1:39 p.m., Kingwood Avenue, Mill City. Driver cited for 40 MPH and 25 MPH.

Suicidal Subject, 1:55 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Courtesy ride given to a male to Albany General Hospital. Male had thoughts of self-harm and wanted help.

Park Patrol, 2:56 p.m., SE Fairview Street, Mill City. Kimmel Park.

Elude, 9:30 p.m., S First Avenue, Mill City. Deputy initiated a stop on a stolen vehicle. Vehicle did not stop and took off at a high rate of speed. Per Linn County Sheriff’s Office policy, the deputy did not pursue the vehicle.

Jan. 19

Traffic Hazard, 4:57 a.m., Kingston-Jordan Road, Scio. Deputy assisted with putting the cows back into the field.

Traffic Stop, 7:42 a.m., SE Kingwood and SE Third avenues, Mill City. Driver warned for no proof of insurance.

Trespass, 8:19 a.m., NW Alder Street, Mill City. Deputies warned person for trespass.

Welfare Check, 10:03 a.m., Fifth Street, Lyons. Deputies assisted with family issues and conducted a welfare check.

Dog Complaint, 1:05 p.m., SW Broadway Street, Mill City. Report of dog running loose. Deputy checked the area and was unable to locate.

Traffic Hazard, 1:39 p.m., SW Second Avenue, Scio. Vehicle towed as a hazard.

Dog Complaint, 2:36 p.m., Robinson Drive, Scio. Report of livestock guardian dog running loose. Deputy spoke with dog owner who was headed home to secure dog.

Extra Patrol, 4:08 p.m., SW Dogwood Street/SW Fifth Avenue, Scio. Caller reported traffic complaints in Scio.

Jan. 20

Park Patrol, 7:41 a.m., Camp Morrison Drive, Scio. Deputy sat in the park and worked on reports. Area was quiet.

UUMV, 9:58 a.m., SW Broadway Street, Mill City. Injury crash. Investigation continuing with citations pending.

Accident, 10:55 a.m., SW Linn Blvd., Mill City. Crash happened at a “work site.” No victims.

Threats, 11:31 a.m., SE Whitten Road, Mill City. Caller reported threats. Deputies learned the event was non-criminal.

Trespass, 11:46 a.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Caller wanted prior customers trespassed from business. Customers involved were advised they were trespassed.

Traffic Stop, 2:42 p.m., SE Fourth and SE Kingwood avenues, Mill City. Driver cited for driving uninsured and speeding.

Disturbance, 4:33 p.m., Ridge Drive, Scio. Physical harassment between two adults. Person who was hit first did not wish to press charges.

Suspicious Vehicle, 6:43 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Suspicious vehicle found in the ditch. The vehicle was involved in a crash earlier that had already been handled and had police tape around it.

Jan. 21

Suspicious Person, 2:01 a.m., SW Linn Place, Mill City. Suspicious person seen trying to enter vehicles near SW Broadway. Deputies arrived minutes after the call and were not able to find the described male.

Extra Patrol, 2:55 a.m., SW Evergreen Street, Mill City. Extra patrol of Mill City. All seemed in good order.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle, 7:26 a.m., Shoreline Drive, Lyons. Deputies recovered a stolen vehicle.

Accident, 8:05 a.m., Jefferson-Scio Drive, Scio. Deputies investigated a motor vehicle crash.

Weapon Offense, 9:43 a.m., NW Beech Street, Scio. 13-year-old brought butterfly knife to Scio Middle School. Knife was seized without issue and incident investigated. Information was forwarded to Linn County Juveniles Department.

Suspicious Vehicle, 5:03 p.m., SW Ivy Street, Mill City. Caller reported a trailer had been dumped at a vacant property. Trailer was moved to the location by someone who lives next to the vacant property and will be moved on to his property.

UUMV, 5:10 p.m., Eighth Street, Lyons. Gray 1991 four-door Honda Accord (522CYW) stolen from Lyons Public Library between 1:15 and 4:30 p.m.. Vehicle was entered into LEDS as stolen. Under investigation.

Shots Heard, 5:17 p.m., Hungry Hill Drive, Scio. Caller reported shooting at a neighboring property and asked it to be checked on. The shooting stopped before deputies arrived and there was nothing to indicate it was unsafe or illegal.

Trespass, 10:37 p.m., Fifth Street, Lyons. Caller reported a family member trespassing. Male left on his own when asked by deputies.

Jan. 22

Motorist Assist, 11:23 a.m., NW Ninth Avenue, Mill City. Deputy responded to a reported crash. Vehicle was removed from the ditch with no injuries to driver and no property damage.

Domestic Disturbance, 4:31 p.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. No crimes committed.

Dog Complaint, 5:02 p.m., Hungry Hill Drive, Scio. Dog returned to owner.

Jan. 23

OD Ingestion Poisoning, 9:20 a.m., Richardson Gap Road, Scio. Deputy responded to reported overdose call with suicidal male who walked into the woods. Male was located and determined to be OK. Additional resources were given to the male.

Threats, 9:45 a.m., Gray Pine Street, Lyons. Caller reported a female made threats about several individuals. Female is seeking mental health. Deputies informed the involved parties and the information was documented.

Civil Dispute, 1:04 p.m., Ede Road, Scio. Caller reported a possible property line dispute after trees had been logged.

Accident, 3:04 p.m., SW Elderberry Street, Scio. Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash. The individual was taken to the hospital.

Theft, 8:38 p.m., NW Santiam Blvd., Mill City. Citizen reported family moved from her home and two rifles, hand tools and other property was taken.

Criminal Mischief, 11:06 p.m., Highway 226, Scio. Citizen reported girlfriend damaged items in his house, threw items around the house and left a note claiming she did the damage.

Jan. 24

Lost Animal, 10:18 a.m., SE Third Avenue, Mill City. Owner located.

Threats, 11:40 a.m., SW Cedar Street, Mill City. Deputies assisted with a harassment involving juveniles.

911 Hangup, 12:48 p.m., SW Elderberry Street, Scio. Deputy checked on female who was having phone trouble. All was fine.

Hit and Run, 1:58 p.m., SE Juniper Street, Mill City. Caller reported his vehicle was involved in a hit and run with $1,500 in damage. Ongoing investigation.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle, 3:10 p.m., Rock Creek Road/Pebble Drive, Gates. Deputies recovered a stolen vehicle. Ongoing investigation.

Extra Patrol, 8:11 p.m., Cedar Mill Road, Lyons. Security check of closed businesses in the area.

Extra Patrol, 10:25 p.m., NE Wall Street, Mill City. Extra patrol of traffic on the bridge.

Jan. 25

Accident, 12:41 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Pickup slid off the road in the freezing fog. No injuries. No damage.

Foot Patrol, 1:31 a.m., NE Wall Street, Mill City. Foot patrolled the businesses and museum.

Accident, 5:12 a.m., Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Driver lost control of vehicle on black ice and rolled on its side. No injuries. Minor damage to vehicle.

Abandoned Vehicle, 6:15 a.m., Cedar Mill Road/Lyons-Mill City Drive, Lyons. Report of an abandoned vehicle off the roadway.
